The former Red Lion closed in 2017, but re-opened post covid in 2022 as the Smugglers Bar & Bistro. It is a village restaurant and licensed bar offering fresh food at reasonable prices (table service only). The bar is modern, clean and bright and phone bookings are advisable for reserving a table for meals. No real ale here.
