A large Wetherspoons (Formerly Lloyds branded) in the Port Solent Marina. The best pub for Cask Ale in the immediate area; with extensive Port Solent Marina free parking and an adjacent Cinema and shops. The pub is on 2 levels, a small boardwalk ground floor pub and a much larger upstairs bar preferred by most customers. There is a wide range Cask Ales and Craft Beers available in bottles.

Historic Interest

Named after local nursery owner and fruit merchant Alec Rose who sailed round the world single-handed in 1967-68. "Lively Lady", the yacht in which he achieved this feat, is situated nearby.
