Large imposing corner pub in the town centre. It is one-roomed but has lots of pillars to help divide it up into smaller areas. There is a pool table, and a smaller ‘snug’ area at the far end of the room. There are lots of tables to choose to sit at, Not far from South Shields Transport Interchange

The pub was bought from Black Rose by Punch in April 2024 .Closed in October 2024 then reopened in November 2024
