Friendly upmarket pub decorated with locally themed pictures. Typically has two cask beers on a rotating basis including one from a local brewery, like Abbeydale, Bradfield, and Chantry. New Management with a new food menu coming February 2025. Children welcome for lunch.

Historic Interest

This pub is on the Sheffield Local Inventory of Historic Pub Exteriors. Originally built by Sheffield Brewery Tomlinsons, two sides of the Ship have a distinctive tiled exteria: ‘TOMLINSON’S FINE ALES WINES SPRITS ANCHOR ALES.’
