Regular drinkers come from far and wide to the Ship. It has a bar divided into three distinct areas with a log burner, between two of them. The rooftop patio has spectacular views. Various pieces of Vaux memorabilia are on display - one of the many subjects of conversation. At least two cask ales available. A former Durham CAMRA Country Pub of the Year. Previous management team returned in April 2026 after five year absence.
