Situated on the quayside one can watch the activities of the local fishing fleet in this busy port and see an excellent view of Gunsgreen House, a local tourist attraction, either from the inside or sat in the pleasant beer garden outside. The current enterprising management have created a pleasant, friendly bar and restaurant. Décor is modern and airy, with a nod towards the town’s seafaring heritage. A green wall of plants is a feature in the hallway to the toilets. The varied menu should offer something to suit most people and includes children's options. Accommodation is run as a separate business. NOTE: Kitchen sometimes closes from 4pm to 5pm. Hours may extend in summer.
