Handy for the ferry terminal and near the floating bridge to Cowes. After several years of being within a PubCo it returned as a free house. In 2025 it has been revitalised by a new team: the pub looks cared for and the beer shows the same. It's not overly large you are assured a warm welcome. It retains its character as a town centre drinking establishment.
