a popular pub and draws its custom from both locals and visitors alike. The large, single bar room is divided into distinct areas and features much dark wood. The Ship Anson is very close to the tourist attractions within the Historic Dockyard, as well as Gunwharf Quays. Well-priced food is served all day. The left hand part of the pub now sports its former name, the King & Queen, but it is not a separate pub.
