Planning permission refused for conversion to flats, but not on any public house reason.

Reopened in April 2022 after a refurbishment, one or two real ales are served, often from local breweries and craft breweries from further afield. Real cider is also offered, served from bag-in-a-box on the bar. Being situated close to Hastings station, there is good footfall and the pub has quickly become a popular busy venue. Accommodation is available on a self service basis.
