Traditional pub close to town centre which has had many names in recent years, but is probably still best known as Jolly Farmer from the days when the town's cattle market was opposite. Cheapest quality ale in the area. Welcoming local with new pool table used by Pub League Team with free use and free jukebox on nominated days. Food supplied on special event days, and toasties are often available. It hosts monthly special party nights and special BBQ events in summer in the garden. Stopped selling real ale during 2019.
