The main entrance is from the side street, (via the courtyard door) on Shepherd Street. One cask ale and nine taps selling draft craft ale and lager, including two permanent offerings from the new Trail Brew Co. in Royton. The cask line serving real ale (Tap 3) uses a flojet to serve the beer from the cask in the adjoining cellar. The beers have always been from either Wakey Wakey, We Are Wolf or Coleys since opening. Royton Mill Tap is the latest branch pub to sell real cider on draught. It currently has Sandford Orchards Devon Mist cider (4.5% abv) on sale from bag in box, with a fruit flavoured cider from Seacider of Sussex also on sale. Both ciders are selling well and the pub is considering putting an addition real cider on sale, with a Ross on Wye cider being a potential option.
