A 16th-century black-and-white half-timbered building steeped in history, the Royal Oak is reputed to have hosted King Charles I in 1645.
The Royal Oak reopened on 12th September 2025 under new management, after a period of closure. The aim is to serve traditional pub food. Real ale not yet available.
