Large, imposing 3-story flint faced, brick built pub situated on the Hampshire Surrey Border, on the main road between Farnham and Aldershot. The pub serves its local community offering sports TV, various events and good value home cooked food, with daily specials and a roast on Sunday. Free pool on Tuesday and there is a meat raffle on Friday. The single bar has a dining/lounge area to the right and a separate games area to set back to the left. There is a huge garden with lots of seating on the decked patio, which also encompasses a covered smoking area. Bus enthusiasts will like the London themed pictures in the gents! And, the pub sells logs.

The first pub run by Stubbings Inns that now holds the lease for nearly a dozen community pubs across the Blackwater Valley area.

Historic Interest

Extended on the instruction of Queen Victoria to provide accommodation for the wives of Officers at nearby Aldershot.
