Well worth the trip out to this welcoming country inn that is popular with walkers. A very well kept LocAle is complemented by good home cooking and excellent views. Old fashioned pub with one handpull. Large outside area and plenty of room inside. Closed on Mondays expect bank holidays. Some renovation work completed and far end of main bar is now devoted to "Vera" detective stories/memorabilia (an episode was filmed there).
