Thatched village pub serving good food in pleasant surroundings. Large patio area & garden fitted out with pleasant sitting areas. Indoors there is a very pleasant separate dining/restaurant area with the facilities for the carvery on Sundays and Wednesdays. Home for skittle teams keeping it busy through the leaner winter months. Usually two Butcombe beers served. Licensee is also a classic car enthusiast which manifests itself with a classic car gathering on the first Saturday of each month. NOTE On a visit in Jan 2025 our surveyor found real ale was £4.50/pt but £2.50 for a half.
