Once a Tudor coaching Inn now part of the Best Western chain of hotels. A wealth of oak beams and comfortable seating give the front parlour bar a cosy atmosphere. Cricket memorabilia from Tom Pawley's days decorate the walls. Plush rear lounge. Decked and heated court yard outside. No Real Ale is being dispensed at the moment, something to do with building up the restaurant trade.
