Large town centre pub with friendly staff and well kept ale. There is a long bar and numerous segregated drinking areas. Very popular with locals and visitors alike. Towards the rear of the premises is a large separate restaurant area, offering a wide selection of pub fayre. Sunday lunches are particularly popular. There is a large area outside with a heated covered patio and widescreen tv.
