Large family friendly food pub set on the main road through the village. There are two bar areas to the front with a larger conservatory lounge restaurant at the back, which has French doors leading out to a pretty beer garden and overlooking the valley. All rooms are comfortably furnished with a traditional wooden décor and are served by a central bar (the rear lounge being served via a serving hatch).

No real ale is available on handpump, but some bottled ales are usually available. This pub is popular for its food and it is advisable to book ahead, especially for its busy Sunday lunches (which include takeaways). Food times may vary.
