A typical interwar pub for this area situated just south of the New Kent Road and close to Elephant & Castle station. Major sporting events are shown on the TV. Look out for the pub dogs Frankie and Jas who are usually to be found sleeping somewhere. Renamed to The Rising SE1 in 2024.
