Located on top of the valley above Thornton with stunning views across Thornton, Queensbury to the front and, from the rear beer garden, towards North Yorkshire & the Three Peaks. Formerly a Wesleyan chapel house. It changed management in March 2025. Whilst of an open-plan layout, the pub has a multi-room feel. The area to the left of the entrance is more relaxed and suitable for those just wanting a drink. the servery has two hand-pulls for cask ales. Six keg taps dispense mass-produced lagers, cider and Guinness. The area to the right is for more formal dining. Sunday roasts are available. Occasions can be catered for at the pub such as weddings, funerals, birthday's, christenings, baby showers etc. There is a new Facebook page 'Ring O'Bells 2025'.
