Located opposite the George Street tram stop, this conversion of a former stationery shop is a deceptively spacious bar. It has a single hand-pump though this is currently not used. It offers up to 6 keg or KeyKeg beers (including a properly brewed lager - normally Budvar, and also Anspach & Hobday London Black) and 2 real ciders (keg and bag in box), along with a selection of gins and other spirits. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also served. DJs perform on Friday and Saturday nights, and there are occasional lower key events, such as a knitting group on Saturdays. The decoration of the bar is 'work in progress' and this description will be updated, as will the opening times, as the bar becomes more established. There is now a small (separately owned) vinyl record and vintage clothes shop in the basement which is open Wednesday to Saturday noon until 7pm. Please note that only the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. Instagram: @riffraffscroydon
