Formerly Chums micropub, this friendly local in a converted shop reopened under its new name in May 2023. Conversation rules, there being no recorded music, TV, or gaming machines, and mobile phones should be used with discretion. Real ales are dispensed from up to five handpumps, with a dark ale usually available. Up to five traditional ciders are served from bags-in-boxes. A selection of wines and spirits is available, and there is a 'dog bar' providing water and biscuits in aid of the Holly Hedge Dog Sanctuary. Food consists of simple bar snacks including filled rolls, pies and cockles. Wall space is available for monthly art exhibitions by local artists. Quiz night is on Monday, with live folk music on the fourth Wednesday of the month and Irish traditional sessions on Sundays. The pub may close on Mondays in the winter months.
