Refurbished town centre local. Usually four ales, occasionally more, from national and local breweries, and a selection of bottled beers. Interesting food menu including snacks, lunch and dinner, with curry nights on Wednesdays and student deals. Sky and BT Sports TV on several screens. There is also a quiet non TV dining area, and paved courtyard with tables and covered shelter, as well as a function room at rear with space for up to 60 guests.
