A visit in mid-March 2023 established that the Red Lion is currently not selling real ale. The reason being that ale drinkers have not returned since the Covid-19 pandemic. Their intention is to try again when the Aunt Sally season starts in Spring 2023.

Three roomed roadside pub with comfortable half panelled interior. Main bar features darts and pool and a separate dining area is off to the right. Two Morland beers and a third guest beer from regional breweries is often available.
