Wetherspoon's pub, under franchise arrangements with the Papas Group of fish n chips & burger fame.

Situated next to Premier Inn, at southeast corner of the junction of A66 and A135.

Three 'Spoon's regular cask beers and three nationally sourced changing cask beers are served.

Large outdoor patio area.

Large car park - if appears full just keep driving around to the back of the pub, where there are many more spaces, and then walk through the courtyard at the entrance to the Premier Inn. You have to drive out that way, so nothing lost.

The number 7 day time bus service operates at 10 minute intervals, which extends to 30 minute intervals in the evening.

Grand Central, Northern and Trans Pennine trains stopping at Eaglescliffe, Yarm and Stockton railway stations can easily be made use of, and then jump on the number 7 bus.
