The Railway is a family run pub that it is at the crossroads of the A517 Belper to Ashbourne and B5023 Duffield to Wirksworth roads. Whilst mainly catering for diners it also welcomes drinkers with all ales coming from the Marstons portfolio except for guests from other brewers around Bank Holidays. It has a very large car park and plenty of outdoor seating with a play area for children; dogs are welcome. Close to the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway station. It holds Classic Car & Bike meetings on occasional Thursday evenings and Saturday lunchtimes. Meal deals include Monday (burgers), Tuesday (pizzas) and Wednesday (pies).
