A friendly locals pub, also very popular with tourists, this is the original coaching inn in Windermere. Cask ale may not be available at certain times.

Wainwright Amber is available; when sighted, the 'handpump' handle was the very long white type which normally indicates that the beer is brewery conditioned, i.e. not real ale.
