A classic example of a terraced, stone built local pub sandwiched between small shops and businesses on the main village street.

Refurbished in April 2026 the pub offers comfortable seating in an open plan format. A new pool table, smart darts board and traditional dart board accompany the silenced gaming machine and multiple sports/music TVs.

Local photos of the area and old maps are featured on the interior walls.

Now offers two hand pulls. Thwaites Original is a regular offering. --
