This restored ex-Shipstones pub is an absolute delight. It has a multi roomed interior which displays its own quirkiness. There is a large south facing beer garden as well as an outside smoking area with its own fire. Inside it has two open fires and a log burner offering cost comfort on cold nights. Regular entrant in the GBG since it re-opened and winner of Erewash Valley Camra Pub of the Year in 2010, it offers five hand pulls featuring a diverse range of local breweries with the odd national thrown in. You can be sure to always find a different Ale on your visits! The pub is dog friendly and close to the popular Shipley Country Park. There is also Sky Sports, a monthly Open Mic, regular entertainment and weekend food vans. A warm welcome always awaits you!
