Brotton once home of the sculptor Charles Robinson Sykes probably best known for designing the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot used on Rolls-Royce cars also has this pleasant pub offering food both in the pub and as a takeaway. Known affectionately by the locals as The Blood-tub.
