Intimate upstairs bar in the Quay Theatre complex. Originally a riverside warehouse on former wharf. Monthly open music nights, quiz nights and various other events in the bar. Disabled toilet downstairs.

Opening times:

Closed daytime, the bar opens one hour prior to performance time in the evening and weekend matinees (Thursday to Monday). Tuesday open to pre-booked clubs and societies from 7pm to 11pm.

Historic Interest

In Apr/May 1982 edition of Last Orders*** Jane Hamblin was reported as manager of this new bar (opened Dec 1981) called the Waterman's Arms which was advertising at the Quay theatre. Photographs of this pub and more historical information about it can be found at suffolk.camra.org.uk/pub/947
