A large, open plan sports-orientated pub with spacious seating areas and a nightclub/function room at the rear. TV screens show live sporting events and there are regular live music acts. Front outside area has picnic tables. Has a strict over 25 years only rule.

3 changing local beers usually from Colchester Brewery and Wibblers. When events are on, can have up to 6 local beers on.

Beers are often dispensed straight from polypins which are kept behind the facade of barrels on display.
