The Prior is a welcoming pub located off a roundabout in the centre of Doxford Park. The single room has been tastefully re decorated with many of the tables having leather armchairs. A large outside area now features. Two handpulls serve changing ales, some from local breweries . Meals are served all day from an extensive menu There is a Curry Night on a Tuesday and Burger Night on a Wednesday. A quiz is held every Sunday evening. Frequent buses to/ from Sunderland City Centre pass the door. Sold back Black Rose to Punch in April 2024
