Stylish dining and bar, not much space for drinkers-only.

After various incarnations, this became a gastropub with an Anglo-Spanish menu. It is much more gastro than pub and on our visit most tables were laid for dining (with linen tablecloths) with only a minimal amount of seating left for drinkers-only.

The Pub Below is the name given to the ground-floor pub area. It is a luxury interpretation of a modern tavern, with own-brand caviar and a fresh seafood counter with produce from Spain and Cornwall. Customers can pick seafood to enjoy in the pub, or take it home! There is a small bar-snacks menu, and the main restaurant upstairs has of course more substantial dishes. Expect to pay Pimlico prices.

The Guinness is installed via the tap system in Ireland, and Jeremy Clarkson's Hawkstone beer range is available. No cask ale.

Historic Interest

This is the former Ebury Arms, an 1891 rebuild of the late eighteenth century Union Coffee House later Tavern.
