Historic Interest

Opened in 1891, a West Cheshire Brewery pub, a Whitbread pub in the early 1980s but acquired by Boddingtons. Described in 1990 as a revitalised ex-Whitbread pub all the better for the change and serving Boddingtons Mild and Bitter by handpump. Closed by 2014 and converted to residential use.
