*** Highlands & Western Isles pub opening and food service times currently vary nearly on a day-to-day basis, mostly dependent on establishments' access to bar and waiting staff. Hence you will almost certainly see different times than those published here. Please DO NOT send updates to either opening or food service times, as trying to hit a moving target is a waste of our very limited resources. [Update 29 Apr 2025: The pub is definitely open to the public now. Went in yesterday. Two cask ales, Ewebrew Arctic Convoy and Caledonian Deuchars, both scoring around 2.5. Also many diners present.]

The Poolewe Hotel is an historic 16th-Century coaching inn, situated on the shore of Loch Ewe, opposite the world famous Inverewe Gardens. Ideally located on the Wester Ross Tourist Route between Gairloch & Ullapool. Loch Ewe was the setting off point for convoys to Arctic Russia in WW2 and regular events and exhibitions are held locally.

Excellent meals are served in the Bar and separate dining room - booking strongly advised in the tourist season when it can get very busy!

The 13 en-suite bedrooms offer loch or mountain views.
