This Pub is Closed Long Term

Grade II town centre pub, with two rooms served by a central bar. Built in the early 19th century on land that had previously been an open courtyard in front of the market hall. It was originally known as the Boars Head! There are tables on the street provided for smoking and outdoor drinking. Happy hour from 4pm to 7pm Monday to Friday. No children allowed after 7pm.
