Originally the Old Post Office in Palterton – this lovingly restored cottage has been converted into a rustic micropub for the local community of Palterton, where there is always a warm welcome and a traditional pub atmosphere. The micropub is currently open on Fridays and Saturdays, from 6pm to 10pm.

The new micropub will serve beer and spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and tea, pre-prepared pork pies and traditional snacks. Two rotating cask beers will be on offer, from local breweries like Welbeck Abbey Brewery. Winner of Chesterfield CAMRA Micropub of the Year 2025.
