Situated in the heart of the village of Thelwall, the Pick combines the feel of a traditional local with the quiet ambiance of a small restaurant, the single bar serving both the public bar and the combined lounge and eating area. Alfresco dining is popular in Summer in the beer garden. Good value meals are served all day using local produce. The pub is a listed building and an interesting inscription on the gable ends refers to Edward the Elder founding a city here and naming it Thelwall.
