This refurbished pub enjoys good local trade and a reputation for good food, ale and cider in summer months having three separate rooms, two bars and a large garden. Occasional quiz nights and music evenings make this pub ideal for summer occasions and long winter nights. The house beer, Pleasant Bitter, is brewed by Woodforde's with hops smoked by the pub owner. Guest local ales, homegrown vegetables, home raised chickens and other local produce are served here. AA pub of the year 2014-2015.
