Town centre chain pub, formerly a Yates's but reinvented under its current name in recognition of its previous life as a post office. Open early for breakfast, the place offers good-value pub grub in the corporate style. The single L-shaped room offers a variety of seating areas, and there is a small café-style outdoor area at the front. No longer selling cask ale.
