Centrally located opposite the Queen's Theatre and close to the historic Pannier Market, this popular JD Wetherspoon pub maintains an ever-changing selection of real ales from local and West Country breweries, as well as those from further afield. Framed prints, hung throughout the comfortable premises, depict various items relating to the history of Barnstaple. To the rear, a pleasant courtyard garden drinking area is a suntrap in summer.
