Modern and spacious bar, with a comfortable atmosphere and a friendly welcome. It serves four ever-changing cask beers, including a dark one, and a craft beer on tap from local Nothing Bound Brewery. Freshly made cobs are available.

Outside, in the warmer months, there are plenty of tables overlooking the river with good views of the magnificent Thomas Telford stone arched bridge.

Historic Interest

Early C19 Georgian house. It was Lewis's fishing tackle shop for much of the latter part of the twentieth century that became derelict for many years before being sold to the owners of the adjacent Courtyard restaurant, rescued and renovated in 2023/24. List Entry Number 1100735
