This Pub is Permanently Closed

Demolished in 2019 to make way for housing.

A large pub on the A462 main road between New Invention and Cannock.

For some years, the building was a pub, but in more recent times, it was converted to an Asian restaurant (Silk Roots). Ii has been returned to its original use and is undergoing a general improvement. It reopened at the beginning of March, 2016

During the day and early evening, the lounge, which is subdivided by screens and alcoves, is mainly used for meals.

There is a large bar, which may be entered from the main road, furnished in traditional style.
