A former club in a modern building offering a cosy retreat with sofas around the fire. A Royal British Legion memorial is in the prize-winning garden and local charities are well supported. The spacious conservatory serves for functions and meetings. Beers are from a range of independent brewers. Good quality and value meals are planned for the near future (at August 2025). Quiz Wednesday. Mirfield station is one mile away. New management as from July 2025. One rotating ale, more likely at weekends according to demand, quality preferred over quantity. Closing times may be brought forward on quiet nights. Brewery tap takeover weekends plans are planned for the future.
