Opened in 2016, the current operators took over in September 2018. Originally built in 1881 as the town's lifeboat station the bar retains some of the original features. This micro bar comprises a single rectangular room with the bar at the back right dispensing real ales, keg beers, wine and cider. No loud music, TV or gaming machines. There is a comfortable raised seating area outside to the front. Children and dogs welcome. Three changing cask ales and a range of boxed ciders.
