This fine stone-built pub was built in the 1820's by Hugh Percy, 3rd Duke of Northumberland, as a Coaching Inn. The building has been lovingly restored and remains warm comfortable and welcoming with it's eclectic styling. Bare stone walls and real fires add to the atmosphere and ambience. Large function room caters for groups of up to 30 people. Beer range predominantly from local breweries.
