The Refectory is in a converted flax mill on the floor above the Northern Monk Brewery. Exposed brickwork and metal pipes on the walls and ceiling and with modern artwork adorning the walls. Usually, 1 or 2 cask beers are available along with around fifteen keg beers, mostly from the brewery, many of which are "adventurous" including dark, sour and strong beers. Consult the board behind the bar for details of what is available. Third pints are available. There is an extensive range of bottled and canned beers. There are outside benches and a cycle rack by the entrance. The food offering comes from a street food vendor and changes every few months. Weekly interactive quiz on Wednesdays. May close early if quiet. Card payment only.
