Just off the main high street Nailsea’s first micropub opened on 27th September 2019 in a former opticians. The focus is on keg beer, as well as cider and lager, and bright beers in bag in box may also be available. The beer offerings, displayed on a chalkboard, are of all styles from around the country but usually include some from local breweries. Bottle and can conditioned live beers are available as are real ciders, various spirits, wines, alcohol-free and soft drinks, as well as reasonably priced bar snacks. Although there is no dedicated parking, there are ample car parks nearby as well as the A2, X9, X11 bus stops. The pub opens at 10am on Market Days which occur on the third Saturday of the month, and has a quiz night the second Wed of the month. The TV is used for major sports events on terrestrial TV only. From June 2026 opens alternate Sundays 12 noon until 5pm - check their Facebook to confirm. Well behaved dogs welcome, and children until 6pm.
