Freehouse serving several permanent beers that are joined by guests from all over, along with two draught ciders. Mismatched furniture, nooks and crannies, newspapers and foliage provide a homely environment but equally encourage people to visit, making the pub busy throughout the week. Several fires burn brightly in winter.

Quality food served in the bar and separate restaurant.

Large covered heated outdoor area to the front; quiet garden hidden away at the rear. Car park small, but ample parking on street. Dogs are welcome and numerous, with the common across the road.

Level access to restaurant but not to main bar.
